AeroWales V3 is THE Contact Database for The Aerospace Industry in Wales... direct from your Apple mobile device.

Featuring the leading edge of the advanced materials and manufacturing sectors, this App provides the contact details of the key players in the Welsh aerospace industry, as well as a means of carrying out useful desk research direct from your Apple iPhone or iPad.

As well as providing full contact details on each company, the App also provides a quick methodology for phoning the contact, sending an email, browsing their website, seeing their position on an interactive map, and even plotting a route from your current UK GPS location to the companys location.

The aerospace and defence industry in Wales includes 6 of the worlds top 10 aerospace and defence companies. It is home to the wing plant of Airbus in the UK and also includes the facilities of many other leading companies.

These companies are supported in Wales by over 160 smaller companies (SMEs) and many academic institutions with aerospace related expertise.

Key clusters and centres of expertise include aircraft wing manufacture, maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO), development and testing of unmanned airborne systems and defence communications.

This App, commissioned by the Aerospace Wales Forum, provides quick access to browse via either capability, via location and via company name. Users can pinpoint those companies that possess a specific capability, and then find out more about each one. Users can see all companies in a particular geographical area. Users can research a specific known company, and find out what capabilities they have.

The Aerospace Wales Forum and the Supply Chain
The principal aerospace and defence companies in Wales support a vibrant and growing supply chain of Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The Aerospace Wales Forum, the voice of the Industry in Wales, comprises over 160 member and associate companies. The Forum works with other partners in Wales, including the Welsh Government to:

• Improve training and grow the skills base within the sector
